the phenomenon of a rainbow

The rainbow is an optical phenomenon that occurs when sunlight and rain react to each other in certain ways. A rainbow is formed because of the deflected sunlight's refraction. These rays move from one medium to another by water droplets in the atmosphere.

The process of the rainbow is: When the sun hits the rain, the rays change direction (refracted) by water droplets in the air. The difference in wavelength and differences in angle when the sunlight is refracted causes the colors in the sun to spread and separate. Apparently, there is sunlight that bounces back or rather is reflected. Now when the sunlight comes again through the water when it rains, the light is refracted again.
